Lucius Jackson III is an award-winning author of fantasy and science fiction. His work is set in vividly imagined worlds that serve as backdrops for the grand narratives of empires and the petty politics of poets.

His debut novel, The House of Seven Gates, an epic fantasy of politics and war inspired by the kingdoms of ancient Africa, will be published by Storehouse Voices, an imprint of Penguin Random House, in Summer 2027. It is the first book in a planned duology.
